You must be the percentage of people that scare everyone into paralysis. Oh no, don't go over the horizon, you'll fall off the edge. I hear you. Phobias paralyse a lot of people. One gay cop is ready to go to war with criminals but is deathly afraid of spiders. A tomboy picks up frogs but can't stand small cars for fears of dying in a car accident and has to have land cruiser or Tahoe. Someone else is afraid of frogs or criminals. Fear is sometimes learned.

I can understand that. I was in the military and we had outspoken out of the closet conscientious objectors of all ranks and sexes and age ranges. I'm sure there's even more antigunners in the nursing and teaching workplaces.

Yea, that is a realistic scenero , I was already 6 foot tall in my freshman year. My home room teacher was about 5 foot tall. There is no way, in any universe, she would have been able to defend herself from me if I wanted to hurt her. Ex Military Armed security on the other hand , in every entery way, and one on every floor ( if multiple floors are present in the school), I am 100% for.

That I could live with, though having firearms in school property still gives me a bit of concern. I mean, most schools in my district already have police personnel all over it and metal detectors at the entrance even. I think it’s sad that schools have to basically have prison level security, but hopefully it keeps the kids safe
