The Chinese Communist Party has arranged for the purchase of at least 300,000 acres of “valuable agricultural land in Oklahoma” that are “the source of much illegal marijuana throughout the United States and even beyond”2. In Oklahoma, close to 3,000 of the state’s nearly 7,000 licensed marijuana farms have been flagged for suspicious activity by law enforcement over the last year1. 25% of the 8,500 medical marijuana grow licenses in Oklahoma are run by criminal organizations from places like China, Russia and Mexico3.
