The only “30% of Republicans” that you refer to are in Congress. It is the remaining 70% of Republicans in Congress that fear Trump and 100% of Democrats in congress that “fear Trump”.
They fear him because he will shine a bright light on their total corruption.

It is more like 75-93% of the Republican citizens of this country SUPPORT ( not worship) Trump.
