I think that Barack Obama laid the foundations for it with his generally hostile stance towards Israel during his administration.  As their political messiah HATED so, too, leftists in general hate.  It just took all this time for NOBODY to be able to pretend it wasn't a fact.

After I saw pictures of dead mutilated children, I could care less what Israel does to Palestine. I really would not blame them if they did commit the genocide people falsely claim they already have.

You don't seem to have a problem with ethe democratic party despite their starting the KKK and their generational support for violent criminal, drug and terror organizations. You should cut Israel some slack, the have faced a multi-generational hatred, bent on genocide. They have a right to crush all comers.
