Jan 6th was a political Fueled riot, the left called it an insurrection to push an agenda. Which thier supporters are still pushing today, I guarantee it will be a focal point of democratic campaigning strategy as it gets closer to the 2024 election.

Oh yeah, they already have. Mostly around the mid-term elections, and the many Republican candidates that focused around election denial (I.e. Kari Lake) only helped that narrative, which might explain why the so-called “Red Wave” ceased to live up to expectation

The thing is, its going to be a losing strategy. most independents that I have had the pleasure to to speak with, non right winger or left winger, have the same opinion about it as I do. It being a political riot, not an insurrection, more so if you look at other actual insurrections that have happened recently. its a losing strategy on both sides though, if trump starts running his mouth about Jan 6th, its only going to arm the democrats political cannons.

True. Most Americans would rather just move on, but those heavily leaning feel like the other keeps it going, which causes them to respond, and so the cycle of it continues. I’m guilty of this too.

What I think would do the DNC best this election cycle would be to focus on Project 2025, because there is some messed up stuff in there hiding in the guise of “the ends justify the means”. If they focused on convincing independents that said plan is dangerous instead of zeroing in on January 6th, it might serve them well

tbh, I just want trump to be done. It was more ok before he got elected and we all made fun of his, but between the random switch up from trump supporters and the drama from both sides, I think I just want to be done.

The only reason Trump ever got elected was because Obama. Each President gives us the successor. If one does great then he or she gets reelected, or if it was their last term, we elected another with the same policies.. if they are bad and make bad choices for our country.. then we get the opposing party in. 2020 was the first time it didn't work out like that, but that is a different debate.

Not really. It usually is the less extreme candidate or whoever splits the vote. That's why Hillary lost and trump lost. Last election we had a split vote with Kanye and stuff.

Yeah, I think every voter in this upcoming election should read it, because it’s encompasses the plan if Trump gets re-elected. Definitely spread it around to those who don’t know of it, as the best voter base is the most informed

I read that fairly throughly, and in all honesty - sounds like a lot of fear peddling. Nothing major is going to change in our government becuase we are controlled by Big oil, big pharma, and China. I just don't see one man being able to do anything , even if he is elected , the entirety of the democratic party will stop at nothing to end anything he tries to do. Good or bad.

Id be willing to bet money on if he does get back in, nothing like that will happen. I know you have witnessed this over and over.. Oh if trump gets in America will turn into a fascist Dictatorship, or oh is this democrat gets in all our rights will be striped away.. blah blah blah. There is a reason we have checks and balances, People forget how safe our country really is. fear divides people and that is why they want us filled with it at all times.

I agree that most probably won’t come to fruition, but I still don’t want my vote to go towards rhetoric with that potential. Again, you vote how you want, but Project 2025 is just not for me

If you are going to label any political riot as an "insurrection" then you better be prepared to bring in the BLM and antifa crowds. If the next words are in defense of those people then you are being a politcal hack for the left.
