YouTubers can choose where they put an ad, but they cant choose an ad, so you can get a f**king hello kitty ad while watching penguinz0, that's why sponsorships in the middle of a video exist.

The YouTube algorithm (particularly the ad part) has no way of knowing the exact content you're watching. If the ad algorithm detects you're watching ANYTHING relating to Opera GX, it automatically assumes that you're at least interested in Opera GX. Therefore, it gives you an Opera GX ad.

Look, I get that. But I still think it's pretty funny and almost pathetic that YouTube gives me an Opera GX ad right before a video talking about how predatory the browser is. Almost like it's telling me "no, please, buy my product now, trust me that video isn't true".
