Love this movie, one of my all-time faves. Works on multiple levels, from musical, to comedic, to philosophical, etc,,,

For my money it was Priscilla, I laughed, I cried, who doesn't love a good road trip movie. I couldnt drop a pic, I'm being punished currently because of my abusive, offensive language, go figure. Pussys

Yeah, I'm a decade off!
I only saw Priscilla like one time I believe. But I seen Hedwig a gazillion, partly because for a Time it was showing a lot of the channels I had. I saw it practically every night for a few months.

I named two other movies I saw in the 1990s about trans stuff. When I was young, I thought "what a great movie" when I watched both of them. I would watch them again - because they are great movies that are done by extremely well. Great acting, great comedy, great emotional situation and so on.

The variance in those movies verses modern movies is that the industry forces it down everyone's eyeballs now. They traded visibility for quality.
