Not exactly. In both groups there are good new and old furries. Problem is that a good chunk of them are toxic and degens, but the reasons behind it vary. Old furries became toxic due to the fandom being of seggsual origin, whereas new furries became toxic as a result of interactions and influence with toxic old furries, that and because of their immaturity.

No, its not a loop, its influence. The furry fandom has seggsual origins, and as a result many old furries are seggsual degens. New furries entered the fandom by either getting interested in the art or influenced by old furries. Many of this old furries are toxic and degens and as such influenced new furries with their degen ideologies and mentality.
