The Constitution establishes the President as the head of the Executive Branch of our government. There is no "Electoral Branch of Gov't." Donald Trump was President until January 20, 2021. However, the Constitution describes a process for counting Electoral College Votes which does not include any role for the President. Therefore all he did that day were private, not official acts.
