To begin, Let me say that Hamas’s attack was horrible and I do not condone their actions nor do I support them in any way.

That being said, it’s my belief that the Israeli government’s response is far from acceptable. Instead of singling out Hamas in their counteroffensive, they are essentially attempting to wipe out all Palestinians in Gaza. Yes, Hamas are hiding in Gaza (and are absolutely cowards for doing so), but the operation to smoke them out is botched at best and terroristic at worst.

Bottom line, there are no good people at the top of the armed conflict, and everyone at the bottom, Jews and Palestinians alike, are victims who need support. That’s my view of the conflict, at least

Your view ignores the fact that the Israeli's have been under constant attack for generations. The Palestinians picked their leadership and are impacted by their poor choices. They are no more a victim than the people in California crying over closed businesses and high taxes. You reap what you sew. The Palestinians could end this tomorrow just by pointing out the Hamas fighters hiding among them but that will never happen. Israel has done more than any modern military to limit civilian casualties, if they did want to commit the genocide the protesters claim is underway this would have been over in a week and Gaza would be a graveyard.

Israel would never do an obvious genocide, the reason they do not is they would not be able to maintain the victim hood status they have claimed since 1948.

I am just going by the reports from both sides, so far close to 35K Palestinians have been slaughtered. but what else would you expect when IDF are bombing refugee camps and apartment buildings. not to mention cutting off food , water , and energy.. which by the way is a war crime.

Lol, you do realize that 1/4 of Israeli's are Palestinians, right? They freely work, live and thrive. There are no Israeli suicide bombers, organized terror groups, training camps of how to spread fear, organize cells etc, it is a long list. What matters is this, no Islamic nation will accept Palestinians refugees from Gaza, not one, for the most part they have no problem letting in people with Israeli passports, especially if they are Muslims.

Having served along side different Muslims and spending an afternoon talking with a IDF officer I see things a little differently than the state sponsored media paints it. I understand the role area nations play in all this and how the alliances, although hidden do exist between Israel and area Islamic countries. Several of which are glad to see the Israelis step up and crush Hamas. Have you stopped drinking the kool aid long enough to ask why area Muslims are not protesting? They understand the link between the government of Palestine and the role the people play in it. You got one part right there are no innocents. Israel has two choices both bad: surrender and be wiped out or totally crush Hamas. The last one will only encourage more and more radicalized Muslims to start the process all over again.

Well, I didn't repeat any talking points, I spoke historical facts that can be confirmed with microfilm from the dates. You laughoff at the horrors Jewish terrorist groups did and caused in the 40s, then condemn Hamas for the same actions today. When you defend Israel , including everything they do, and did.. who is really drinking the koolaid? Israel has a right to defend itself, how they do it is not up to us. American's can cry, protest, scream in rage, it changes nothing, Hamas will still get a beat down.

I support Israel because they are right in this conflict, anything prior is just history, every nation has and will again make mistakes. Palestinians made a huge one and now they are getting a well deserved smack down. When Israelis train an Army of terrorists to rape, disfigure and murder little girls, I will call them out for it. As far now the IDF are the only good guys in this fight.

Ukraine, a nation known for corruption, greed, bribery and more has gotten more money than Israel a true ally has during its entire lifetime. We as a nation are dependent on Israel for arms (we buy a large amount from them), we get nothing from Ukraine. Unlike many nations surrounding Israel, the Israeli's remain a loyal partner.

The history of the nation takes years to understand, a few microfilms someone uploads even if you did actually read them doesn't cut it. I have way more time studying this conflict than I care to admit. It is a complex area, and the arguments pro and con are always circler and amount to a round robin of talking points and dismissed propaganda (both sides). What doesn't change is one simple truth, Israel could walk out of Gaza today and Palestinians will immediately start prepping for the next round.

Lastly, I have yet to see an Israeli group call for the death of America, that seems to be limited to Muslims, Democrats and Iranians, I would not trade Israel for any of them.

Foreign aid we partially agree on, I do not think we should pay for the wars of others, but Israel and Ukraine can't be treated the same. We have an obligation to Israel; Ukraine is a failed nation and needs to go away, they shouldn't get a thing.
