Some one should give Alec Baldwin a gun to point at Maher and say: Thanks for volunteering Bill.

They should split the time between them. Both stupid incomps. Why couldn't he even check his own weapon? I think it were a 60/40 for him/her. She had the main job but he were also irresponsible.

As a producer, he is responsible for safety on the set. Certifications are required on set for scissor lift operators. Anyone handling firearms on set should be required to have a Firearms Safety Course certificate from the NRA.

As an actor, he had the final responsibility to ensure the firearm was safe, including checking for live ammo.

The industry has available ballistic shields (like the ones SWAT teams use), but Baldwin the producer was negligent in not having it used when a firearm was being handled.

Totally agree, but please no one overlook the fact that it was Alec Baldin who aimed the firearm and pulled the trigger. Yes, it shouldn't have been loaded in the first place, but he is still guilty of manslaughter, which means accidental death. It's still a crime.

Let’s see Alec over-acts remorse before sentencing.

I think it's outrageous that Alec got to walk around free for a 1.5 years before they even charge him for manslaughter!! Anyone else would've been charged the same day and in jail waiting for trial.
