I’m talking about how they took the term “Woke”, which meant someone who was aware of injustices against minorities, and turned it into “anything I don’t like from left-wing activists.” Just like how they turned CRT into “Anything in education I don’t like” and currently DEI into “employees I don’t like.”

They then campaign on these terms until it either a) gets them into office, they implement policy against it, and when it doesn’t solve all of society’s problems, they repeat the cycle so none is the wiser. Or b) it fails to be a winning platform, and they repeat the cycle in an attempt to lure more voters into voting for them out of outrage

It’s a basic conclusion drawn from years of political strategy, not a talking head point from MSNBC.
