Remember, this is the Holy, Inspired, Infallible, Inerrant, and Authoritative Word of God on how to cure a "defiling skin disease"...
Leviticus 14
4 the priest shall order that two live clean birds and some cedar wood, scarlet yarn and hyssop be brought for the person to be cleansed. 5 Then the priest shall order that one of the birds be killed over fresh water in a clay pot. 6 He is then to take the live bird and dip it, together with the cedar wood, the scarlet yarn and the hyssop, into the blood of the bird that was killed over the fresh water. 7 Seven times he shall sprinkle the one to be cleansed of the defiling disease, and then pronounce them clean. After that, he is to release the live bird in the open fields.
If you had not read this in your Bible, you’d say someone was trying to perform some sort of witchcraft. But this is the Bible LOL. Bird’s blood, cedar, scarlet yarn, poison plants, fresh water, clay pots … sheesh. It sounds like the witches in MacBeth Act 4 Scene 1: “Double, toil and trouble, fire burn and caldron bubble, fillet of a fenny snake, in the caldron boil and bake, eye of newt and toe of frog, wool of bat, and tongue of dog, adder’s fork and blind-worm’s sting, lizard’s leg and owlet’s wing, for a charm of powerful trouble, like a hell-broth boil and bubble.”
But, but, but this is the OLD Testament and we're no longer under the Law, but under Grace! So, you're telling me that this magic potion, this "spell" actually worked up until 2,000 years ago or was it just a bunch of BS back then too? Your buy-bull spouted BS then and it still spouts BS today.
