Every person would get homeschooled differently as every parent is different. It sounds like the parents of those kids messed up. I'd do some soul searching if any of my kids were transgender.

That's only true insofar as everybody needs to live in a community. It's no less and no more true of an adult or a person in their golden years, etc. If you interact with people, which is probably something that applies to literally everyone no matter how much someone might want not to, then you need and are in a community.
