sorry, vBackman, but I have to make a correction. Kamala cackles not when asked "tough" questions, but when asked any normal, common sense question. It's an obvious uncomfortable reaction because she's so clueless about politics, policies and her role in general. She's completely unqualified.

I would have to agree with your assessment, ToneDef. It is a defensive reaction and she cackles pretty much all of the time. Her condescending demeanor plays into that as well rounding out her likeability rating to a "most can't stand her level". :)

She was so low in the polls...men AND women both disliked her. There is no question she was hired on the basis of her skin tone and sex. Period. Neither should be acceptable as a reason for advancement over more suitable candidates in hiring the most competent & experienced person for the job.

Whoever is on her PR team has clearly been coaching her, because of late, Kamala has cackled less and taken more time before answering her usual word salad and trying to talk more in "politician-speak".

I honestly don't keep up with her but glad to hear of the 'improvement'. Personally, I don't believe she has any substance so doubt there will be any real change other than 'for show'.
It will be less irritating for the rest of us so I guess we should be grateful for small favors. :)

Oh, she's definitely not a thinker. She struggles to make sense at all. But at least, someone has been coaching her to be less annoying on TV.
