Actually I think Trump may be laying the groundwork for an insanity defense for all the criminal charges he's facing.

His usual defense is that he was too stupid to know what he was doing when he did it, and then Trump Inc is found guilty and the fall guy(s) go to prison, so no major difference.

lol - have been thinking the same thing. Dude has been literally bat shite whack-a-doodle since before his first term, but he forgets a couple things and NOW people question his competence...? Not sure humanity is worth saving.

Well... wasn't actually born cynical, but eventually concluded that there probably is no hope for mankind. Magats are certainly not helping mankind's case.

I find that cynicism is the only chance at hope I have, as my expectations are so low that China is a few tiers above Heaven when I look up. So with that kind of attitude, it's only a matter of how bad as opposed to bad or not. As hoping for not bad all too often turns out to be for naught, well, you do the math.

By that calculus, I'd say that radical cynicism is basically a pathological form of hope. I like it.
