US citizens have, in effect, 120 weapons (rifles and handguns) per 100 people. No foreign government would do well, militarily, invading us from the outside. It is only from the inside that we can be defeated. As has been stated many times, both here and elsewhere by many people smarter and more skilled than I, this is the reason the government wants to 'modify' and eventually erase 2A rights.
