When Jerry Seinfeld got verbally attacked on college campuses for not being WOKE and Politically Correct enough with his humor, the political Left jumped the shark.

I think it's more than that. In order to have a sense of humor you have to be able to identify things objectively and understand context and juxtaposition. Leftists are incapable of all of these concepts. It's not that Leftists try to "please" everyone in their brand of comedy. Leftists can't be funny if they tried, because the whole concept of a "punchline" is that's it's unexpected or contrasts 2 ideas.

I agree in that I sometimes find it challenging to end with the unexpected contrasts of ideas. I delete some of my memes when I can't find a way to come close enough to doing that. I also deep-six them when I can't find any way to find the humor in something that the Left has done.
