The upgrade is that she's finally using nanotech like her two sisters

This happens during collector's story which everyone probably forgot about

Liam: Still looks like a robot, not advanced enough to make nanotech able to recreate the sensation and look of human skin?

Terra: oh it can make just about any texture, but colors are more difficult to replicate.

Liam: Honest L, i created a perfect nanotech-

Sap in the background: Perfect? But if you were saying that it sucked last night?

Terra: pfft-

Liam: IT DOESN'T SUCK! IT'S NOT PERFECT OKAY?!??? BUT OTHER NANOTECH ARE PRIMITIVE IN COMPARISON! I ALREADY MADE BILLIONS SELLING THIS!

Terra: ... You sure about that? Data told me you used her nanotech as a prototype back before she got the upgrade during the inkperious eon.

... So are you saying it makes HERS look primitive?

Liam: Exactly

Sap: Liam!!!!! That's rude!

Terra: ok... try comparing it to mine.

*She lets him look and it's nearly identical*

Liam: Ya call that nanotech?

*His hand morphs into a long blade with the tip glowing hot*

*terra does the exact same thing*

*his face is slightly impressed but very annoyed*

*The Blade and arm morphs into a big futuristic blaster*

Liam: OKAY, maybe my nanotech isn't THAT advanced but I'm pretty sure my core is more advanced!

*His chest starts shifting and opens up, he pulls out a sphere shaped object with energy crackling from it*
*Various tubes and wires are connected to it*

*terra simply pulls out a transparent tube about the size of a soda can with a small bit of green energy glowing inside of it*

Terra: although it's a bit less flashy, it can last for thousands of years at a time. It's also a lot harder to track since it isn't actively generating power

Liam: Mine uses the energy of a star! It can generate power of hundreds of thousands of years! It's so powerful it produces radiation! If a human were to stand near it, he would suffer lots of pain.

Sap in the background: You're able to harness the power of a star but not able to make advanced nanotech *laughs*

Terra: ... Anyway. First of all, that's a threat to the safety of anyone standing near you. Second of all, the energy of a star is pretty damn easy to track. If someone wants you dead, they WILL find you.

Liam: First of all the casing inside my body absorbs the radiation and uses it as extra power for my blasters.

Second of all, I live in a remoted place in the universe, no one has ever found me

Terra: fair enough but you get my point.

Liam: Still you're primitive

I'm honestly not sure.

Usually they are pretty long, but they end up looking far more natural by the time you attach them to the torso and arms, so I never really payed attention to it.

Terra: you can accomplish that with nanotech.

Terra: nanotech is what lets robots like me, Astra, and data do stuff like this.

*Her arm morphs into a sword*

Sap: WOAHHH, but wouldnt it be hard to control?

Liam: He knows everything up to the 21st century, so nanotech is just, not possible for him

Terra: Astra helped me figure this out. Basically, don't think of it as millions of tiny robots, but instead think of it like clay you can mold.

... That's how Astra thinks of it. In the case of data she thinks of it more like Legos

Sap: Woahh, i wanna try a body!

*Liam spits his coffee*
Liam: I could hel-

Sap: No! I want you to help me! *Points at Terra*

*Liam sips coffee*

Terra: ... Me!?

Sap: Yep! I don't trust my brother!

Liam: If i had a system in my eyes, i would cry

Idk that wasn't exactly my goal. I did try to make her kinda curvy though to match her original design.

Speaking of which I changed how I drew the boobs to make them look more realistic with the T shirt

It's kinda similar to how I used to draw them but this mainly works for loose fitting clothes

Terra: it's so we can feel more human. In a non-nanotech body this doesn't really matter, but now that I have the opportunity, I might as well do it.

... In my previous body though that's something collector added back when he built me

Liam: I understand that but us male androids dont give ourselves dicks

Terra: well if you did that it'd be for a completely different reason.

Sap: But some androids give themselves a more "muscular" body, even if it's just bigger arms and more realistic chests

Terra: that is just to make themselves look stronger. What actually matters is what's underneath.

Liam: Yeah and I'm the most complicated

Sap: I don't see the advantage to being physical

Terra: being physical means your code doesn't get damaged if you stub your toe.

Sap: Yeah but it means i can't manifest anywhere where there's internet
