Speedy Trial because -
1) Witnesses' memories are better the sooner the trial is.
2) Evidence is fresher the sooner the trial is.
3) Defense and Prosecution both have to bring their A-Games on a tight schedule 'cause if they don't they can kiss their win/loss and maybe a chunk of their reputation goodbye.
4) Speedy Trials are cheaper then long drawn out trials.

Except that in cases such as this it is NOT THE NORM to ram things through at light speed. The only reason for the hyper increase in speediness is to keep Trump from becoming president again. The legal analyst was correct . . . which means that he will never be on CNN again.
