Indeed. If a person is aware and breathing then the possibility of bigotry and racism dwells within them. It's like when pearl clutchers freaked when Jimmy Carter declared that he sometimes lusted in his heart. Humans experience human emotions and impulses. What separates the good from the bad is whether or not one acts on certain things.

Exactly, humans are pack animals, when we are unexpectedly grouped outside our own pack we tend to react. That interaction is not racism as much as a survival mechanism, most people quickly dismiss it and move on, but it is always there. Real racism grows only when people allow it to.
