Collector kicked down the door of the abandoned inkperial palace

The interior seemed to have been ravaged by the republic in an attempt to erase whatever was left of the inkpire

Collector knew it was... likely futile.

As he explored the empty halls he found various inkperial weapons, which he put in his bag to analyze when he returned to the realm of creation

Eventually he found the room where everything fell apart

There were broken hypnotic shades, and inkstone burn marks everywhere

But most importantly, a broken window

And upon looking down from it...

EC's remains were on the ground, with a large hole through the chest

Collector jumped down to the remains of EC

Collector: so, how does if feel to be killed by your own technology?

Collector: yeah, that's right. Lay there. Lay there and rot in silence just like the rest of your precious empire.

collector stood up and continued searching. He knew taunting silent remains wouldn't do him any good

After about an hour searching, he found a vault hidden under the palace

Collector: pfft, did they really expect this to keep me out?

Collector punched a hole in the lock and the door opened easily

Inside there were various treasures, seemingly stolen from the civilizations the inkpire destroyed

But most importantly, right in the middle, was collector's sword.

The sword of creation

Along with the broken helmet from the day sagi defeated him

Collector picked up the sword, along with the helmet, and contacted the republic to tell them about the vault

He soon returned to the realm of creation, and placed everything he found on a table in his workshop

Astra walked in and was curious about what collector brought home

Astra: back already?

Collector: yep.

Astra: ... Was EC's head still there?

Collector: yes. And that is where it will remain.

Astra was surprised to hear that collector didn't take it

Astra: couldn't he come back again?

Collector: the inkpire already managed to come back without him once, so it doesn't matter if he is found again. Sagi is my main concern currently.

Data rolled past the doorway in a wheelchair, and terra quickly chased her

Data: I GOT WHEELS NOW B*TCHES!!!

Terra: DATA COME BACK HERE YOU'RE GONNA RUN INTO SOMETHING

The sound of glass breaking and various bits of commotion could be heard shortly after data zoomed by

Astra: *sigh* I'll go help clean that up. Just... Rethink your decision, ok?

Collector: ... Ok.

Astra walked away

Collector decided to keep Astra's words in mind, but still continued to search for sagi

If he managed to defeat collector, and is still out there, there's still a serious threat to the multiverse. Especially if the inkpire was able to return with just his leadership.

Collector looked through the database of evidence found by the republic to find any recent sightings of sagi

Sadly, the last time he was seen in public was at the festival during the first sighting of Oracle.

Perhaps she could be a lead, but since she left the inkpire shortly before it's downfall it'd likely be a dead end

Collector simply sat back in his chair, and pondered what he could do in the meantime while he waited for a good lead on the location of sagi

He soon realized that without proper training he wouldn't be capable of defeating him, let alone killing him

Collector: ... I wonder if pre inkla is still around

Inkmatas was relaxing on a bench in a park with some ice cream, enjoying the peaceful silence knowing the inkpire was gone. At least for now.

... Until she heard a portal behind her

Inkmatas: ... I'm guessing that's you, collector?

Collector: how'd you guess?

Inkmatas: something about the sound of creation portals is different from normal ones... I'm not quite sure what it is.

Collector: interesting, I guess I never noticed

Inkmatas scooted over to make room for collector

Inkmatas: take a seat

Collector sat down next to her

Inkmatas: so why'd you come here?

Collector: I'm curious about one of your relatives. Pre-Inkla if I remember correctly.

Inkmatas: ... It's been a LONG time since I've heard from him.

Collector: how long?

Inkmatas: he kinda went silent during the various inkperial eras

Collector: ... Do you know where he could be?

Inkmatas: last I've heard is that he lives in some mountains here in the inkeverse. I think there was also something about an ancient church but my memory's a little fuzzy.

Collector: interesting...

Inkmatas: ..why are you curious about him?

Collector: I seek training. After my last encounter with sagi I realized my fighting needs a bit of work.

Inkmatas: to be honest, I've kinda felt that way about my magic. It's been a while since I've been in a big battle with it and I haven't done much more than some inkstone hellblasts recently. Maybe I'll practice with Peyton when I have some spare time.

Collector: ... Anyway, I'll get out of your hair, tentacles, or whatever you inklings call it.

Collector gets up and opens a portal

Inkmatas: bye! I hope your training goes well!

Collector waves and walks through

Important question: Would you want Collector to take more the spotlight or have him more as a secondary character? In my story i mean

It's your story, so do what you want with him as long as he doesn't go too out of character. Ask me any time you're not sure what he'd do

Would he use full power if almost no one was in danger?

To use his full power he would need to get it DIRECTLY from creatie herself, which can't be done via a crystal extension.

Not sure exactly how strong he'd be (mainly because I've never really thought of it)

Considering he was already basically a superhuman, and considering he also trained in the ancient temples; he probably has very powerful physical strength.

Well "destroy a mountain" doesn't really explain how he was able to lay down on the surface of a black hole
