Why was the ability to see points in the top right corner removed? It makes it easier for me rather than having to go to my profile and look.
Also, here's my idea.

Reverse the change and make the real homepage the default option. However, give an option for users to switch to the new one if they like it. If a slim majority of the site is happy with the new homepage, but the majority (including me) isn't, then you guys should try to accomodate to the majority as well, especially since imgflip is already on the decline sadly.
The new homepage has also made it harder to navigate to things. Especially the frontpage of fun. This new change is inevitably going to kill the entire fun stream because people either don't know how to find it, are annoyed, or are just going to leave the site altogether.

As I stated in one of my most recent posts
"This new homepage is actually gonna kill streams like the fun stream, and especially the most popular memes on the followed streams page. It's much harder to navigate, and newer users (all of who which use the fun stream) won't know how to get to the REAL homepage that was replaced with this garbage. Thus, this will negatively affect imgflip and will likely lead to an even worse decline in users than that we have already been seeing over the past couple of months. Idk why the devs thought this was a good idea, as the original homepage is iconic and it should be the first thing that you see when you log in."

All in all, you guys really need to give an option for people to choose which layout they want. And please....I want to be able to see my points without having to go to my profile. I'm willing to have a conversation about this.

points only showed up on desktop, and something like 80% of the community is on a mobile device so they don't see it anyway, whereas professional creators who do not use the community or points are the majority of desktop users so it's very weird and irrelevant for them. this makes it cleaner and more consistent. perhaps points could show up next to the Profile link in the menu though?

iPads are mobile devices though, and you can see the points on there. I think a toggle button to see points would be nice, as I'm not fond of the idea that I can't see my points without going on my profile. Also, what do you mean when you say "profile link?"

Tablets are effectively non-existent for most purposes. It changes throughout the day, but in the past 30 minutes, Imgflip traffic has been ~55% "mobile", ~45% desktop, ~1% tablet. Profile link is the button in the top right user dropdown menu.

We're definitely open to suggestions about content links and flow within Imgflip, but it's unlikely we'll show fun stream images as the most prominent huge thing on the page for the majority millions of people who visit Imgflip not looking for that. We can still feature them somewhere on the homepage, just not taking up 50% of the default screen, if that makes sense. Honestly it's been a bit awkward and a problem for years, it was just a bigger more opinionated change so we probably delayed longer than we should have.

I personally just want to be able to switch to what UI I like better. So I think that there needs to be two options instead of forcing everyone to use the same one.
