a 2 second google search would answer your question, or do you need to be spoon fed all your information?

When making a claim, it is your job to back it up. The Google algorithm actually produces different search results based on an individuals previous browsing history, so what comes up first in your search results may not turn up in thiers at all. (This is contributing greatly to the polarization of society) This is why I would recommend providing direct links to supporting articles. If you want people to leave thier echo chamber you have to help them find the exit door, as it is well camouflaged.

I agree if the claim is obscure and a particular link is needed.. but this story is ALL over the internet. Its not hidden in the least.

Yould be surprised how the algorithm can hide stuff. I often have people tell me to look up stuff, and I do and still can't find whatever the f**k they claim is easy to find. It would be so much easier if they'd just leave me a link.
Now sure, when I googled this it came up right away for me, but my algorithm is almost certainly closer to yours then thiers, and like like to give people the benefit of the doubt.
Also "look it up" sounds like a dodge when you could JUST POST A LINK.

Like I said , a 2 second google search would verify that the meme does not contain a "made up headline".

Why bother... they'll never take the time to check it out...

Exactly, I get what Boredmeme is telling me but at this point I doubt even with a supplied link , the person you are trying to inform is not going to read it anyways. A screen Shot of the info is better than a link if you feel you need to verify something.

Again, needing to be spoon fed information... ever hear of independent research? That way if a link is provided one can not simply say "oh , that is a right wing website, I am not even going to check it" or other typical responses from the left.

I linked a few articles for you. I'm doing it from a crappy android and I'm not very tech savvy, so I didn't do it very efficiently (that's why they're all separate comments instead of being together on one coment).
