No, studies do not. They show a majority of them experience a drop in depression after either coming out or getting mutilated, but a massive return to depression and suicide within a decade. And this ignores the massive wave of kids who quickly regret the surgery, plus the majority who just grow out of this phase before they get irreversible surgical mutilation.
