Real.

Bro when the creation is being destroyed by human pollution, and entire populations knowing oppression or poverty, the real Christian is not fighting lgbtq.
On one side there's half a dozen verses the interpretation of which is not consensual, and on the other side there is half bible telling you to take care of your neighbour

its funny how some people are "christian" even though they're commiting a sin

I strongly disagree with this. While I don’t agree with their beliefs, I think this is taking it a little far

Not agreeing that sin is bad is "a bit far"?

You wouldn't support a murderer so why do you support a queer? They're both bad in God's eyes.

Because it’s not about supporting the ideology, it’s about saying a person is wrong for existing. They can’t control their sexual attraction, they can control who they f**k but that’s irrelevant I think. I don’t support murderers and I don’t support the LGBTQ movement, but I support people. And it feels like what you’re saying is that these people are invalid because they feel differently than you do, and that also goes against the Bible

I'm not saying anyone is invalid because God loves everyone.

but God did create them and bless them with every good thing in their life and they repay him by spitting in his face and doing something he asked them not to do.

Yes but I think it’s far more complicated than it’s right or wrong. I know, I know, there are several verses in the Bible that condemn homosexuality but that’s just my two cents.

Fair enough. That's just your opinion and I can disagree but I can't change that.

Have a good day sir.

A person cannot be absolutely and imperatively right or wrong, only actions can be judged that way. Thought is not a sin, only action can be.
Berating a person for having a thought is not right.

Is that what you're saying?

When we are before God, He will be judging us even upon our thoughts. Jesus said, "But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery in his heart." Matthew 5:28 KJV
Jesus placed the thought of doing something in the same category as an action. This is why we tell people that our sins must be covered by the grace of God. This is not hate. Making a person feel better about something the Bible calls out as "sinful" rather than telling them the truth of their situation is just making them comfortable on their way to judgement. I will not tell a person to not live their life the way they want to and I am not any better than anyone else. I need the grace of God just the same as everyone else upon the face of the Earth. Our life choices are ours but we don't get to define the eternal consequences of our choices. The Creator of the universe holds that authority.

Ah, interesting. I didn't think thought would have consequence unless it leads to sinful action, and even then you would be accountable for your sinful action and not the thought that inspired it.
Not speaking from a Christian point of view, as I'm not one. Just very curious about how it works.

``Making a person feel better about something the Bible calls out as "sinful" rather than telling them the truth of their situation is just making them comfortable on their way to judgement.``
Good point.

Indeed, Jesus mandates that we love all mankind. I disagree with choices and actions but hate no one.
