Heck, even I use the term "Happy Holidays" sometimes! At one point, I had the soyjak reasoning. However, at some point, I realized that saying "Happy Holidays" wasn't a heretical way of saying "Merry Christmas," but actually celebrating all holidays in one punchy greeting. It's in the title, but sometimes even the obvious requires a deeper look.

Oh don't worry, the polite Christians will call that an unchristian act, even thought Christians are the ones who do it.

True, and certainly not all Christians are bigots.

If somebody says something nice to a Christian and their response is to get angry because they didn't say exactly what they think the person should've said exactly how they should've said it, the problem is with that Christian not the person who said something nice.

I know. I meant polite Christians would call it unchristian to get huffy about being told "happy holidays", not unchristian to say "happy holidays" to a Christian. Even if they did consider it unchristian to tell someone "happy holidays", Christians are supposed to be about forgiveness anyway.

I understand. I just think it's funny that so many Christians talk about how moral and virtuous they are and here is this guy getting enraged because somebody said something nice to him.

Exactly! Some Christians see themselves as elites, when, in reality, no one is perfect. We can strive for perfection, but that doesn't make is better than anyone else.
