Great. He’s going to get two hours a day of me picking my nose & scratching my balls.

Just wait until they classify that as dangerous behavior and your car shuts off. They're planning that next, your own backseat driver.

I agree with what you said, especially about controlling you. But visualize this you are the designated driver but the other three people in the car would exceed the alcohol limit, I wouldn't think you're going anywhere. Maybe at least in my city they should reduce the number of alcohol permits they pass out.

Everything they're doing is after the Chinese social scoring system... where if you step out of line you are penalized...

What do you mean at closing time, if they have passengers who's breath is over the alcohol limit?

Yes. Will that xar shut down when 2-3 drinks get inside? What does that do to the drivers ESG? What rideshare driver would want to pick up drunks?

From what it said if you exceed the alcohol limit the kill switch will turn the car off. Which might be dangerous too, if the car stops running while you're driving down the street or turning. And just wait until it decides which of your driving habits it determines are dangerous.

I know it won’t allow the car to start, but I’m not sure it will turn it off. Ignition interlocks (for DUI) give you a couple minute warning to blow again or have car shut off.
Older used cars will sell like crazy.
2 ups, 1y
Yeah, you think the car industry has a problem selling electric cars. How popular do you think these will be? But you're right it will make older cars more valuable and more expensive.

Cars already have cameras rolling, just look how two seniors in Queensland got caught keying luxury cars...

Yes but that's looking outside the car, not inside the car looking at you.

Ahhh yes, Reuters even made an article of Tesla workers sharing sensitive images recorded by customer cars. If Tesla became government owned, then Tesla would have the government watching all over us. That's another reason to vote Democrats, they'd actually keep information private

Are you kidding how many times has the government been hacked? And if Tesla workers are sharing sensitive information, that would give cause for termination of that employees, as well as a sizeable lawsuit against against them.
As well as considering how corrupt our present government is do you really not think they'd sell more of your private information? Or think about it this way, don't all Tesla's have GPS devices? Well then can't the government already follow you?

"How many times has the government been hacked?"

The Biden administration has been hacked at least once within the term, however Biden has inherited one of the worst hacks in history from the Trump administration.

"And if Tesla workers are sharing sensitive information, that would give cause for termination of that employees, as well as a sizeable lawsuit against against them."

Lukasz Krupski was actually fired after sharing sensitive data with Aaron Greenspan, a prominent Tesla critic and short-seller, and is intending to sue Tesla for compensation.

There is no proof that Biden has shared sensitive information about Tesla. And I haven't been followed by the US government either

I know the Biden Administration has been hacked, but have you noticed how Biden wants to blame Trump for everything, even things of his own doing like the border disaster.

And as far as Elon Musk is concerned he is a businessman, and there are always hiccups in business.

Biden hasn't shared sensitive information about Tesla.
He wants to put censors to see if you've been drinking alcohol, with a kill switch to cut your car's engine, and a video camera too.
