That's an insanely uneducated statement.

Perhaps if you'd read my comment here (repeated below, so you can find it) you'd understand the situation? What Trump asked for was perfectly legal under the constitution, so much so that Democrats did what is described below.

Also: did you see all those insurrectionist Democrats (Hillary, Jimmy Carter, etc.) who were "election deniers" after Trump was elected in 2016? The GOP thoughtfully provided this video, proving they're good for something:

If what Trump wanted supposedly wasn't in the Constitution, then why did Liz Cheney and the Democrats have to pass this law?

House passes Liz Cheney-backed election reform bill in Dem push to prevent another Trump ‘insurrection’

The House voted Wednesday to update the rules for congressional certification of presidential elections, a response to then-President Donald Trump’s questioning of the 2020 contest that Democrats and Republicans such as Rep. Liz Cheney say led to an attempted "insurrection."
---

So Democrats passed a "reform" bill to make things run the way THEY wanted? "Updating the rules" in that fashion may in itself be unconstitutional. Like the way Democrats illegally ("Wisconsin") changed voting rules to run the way THEY wanted before the 2020 election because "covid".

The procedure had been in place for decades, but because Donald and the Trumpets felt they were entitled to pull a fast one, Congress decided to re-affirm the proper procedure.
