Trump was more of a flashlight, or a spotlight, shining the light on the craziness the neolibs have been up to in relatively recent years. Before Trump, I knew they were bad. But they feel so threatened by him (which can't be a bad thing, imo) that they dropped all pretense of caring about democracy and what little they cared about personal freedom and went batshitcrazy trying to stop him. Still are.
The klowns in Kolorado are even trying to keep him off the ballot. Nothing says "we fear you and you only, Donald Trump", like trying to prevent your political opponent's name from appearing on the ballot for POTUS. That's about as blatant of an example of election interference as we'll ever see.
