in the
most basic rule, you should just follow the stream rules and tos. however, note that stream rules shouldn't override
tos unless a site mod says so. don't delete comments or disapprove images because you dislike the user
posting that. if that user is directly violating a rule, then you may take further action. it's also a good idea
to listen to both
sides of an argument before deleting a comment. if an argument gets too out of control, try disabling comments. as a mod, preventing drama is an important aspect of your modding status, especially on msmg, where
disapproving/editing images is
one of the few things you can do with auto-approval. if you have to delete something, provide and explanation as to why in the mod note. also, don't dish out long and severe bans for small violations. if the user violates multiple rules, then a 24 hour ban makes sense. but an 8 hour ban for a slur is a bit much, especially when heavily censored.
