Upvoted. This is true. Functionally HAMAS terrorists represent the overt will of the Palestinians. This is true even if -- to be ridiculous about this -- the average Palestinian is all sweetness and light in regards to the Jews of Israel.

But, of course, the average Palestinian does hate Israel -- and probably all Jews -- with a fiery passion . . . sort of like the average leftist inside the United States.

Hamas rules the Gaza Strip. The Palestinian Authority rules the West Bank. Both organizations are corrupt and there really aren't any real choices during "elections." I wouldn't exactly say either option represents the overt will of their people.

I agree to the extent that if one looks at United States policies -- as opposed to what our politicians 'say' -- one can easily come to believe that the average citizen believes in and endorses defunding the police, coddling criminals, aborting babies up to birth, and a host of other things that in reality ONLY our increasingly mentally ill leftists believe in, endorse, and promote.

I am therefore willing to accept that the average Palestinian was NOT all that sold on infiltrating Israel and raping, torturing, and murdering a host of citizens . . . especially KNOWING what Israel's inevitable reaction would be.

Actually Hamas governs Gaza while the other two groups - i forgot their names - govern the West Bank which means Hamas does not represent all Palestinians.
