Something tells me they would've tried instead of having that sudden realization and self-reflection that the actual group had.
Even though Christianity had a horrible stretch of being 'stone happy', they got over it. As a matter of fact the majority of major religions have seemed to have 'calmed down'. . .except for one. . .
