They will have no choice but take credit for it. The wall will not solve everything nor will mass deportation, but the impact will be felt, and the dems will claim they stopped the crime wave without republican help.
The party that opened the border, defunded the police, welcomed massive amounts of criminals into our country and weaponized federal agencies to focus only on censorship and not law enforcement agree with you. Rational people do not.
