I played with Thomas The Tank Engine toys a lot as a young kid (and occasionally my elder brother's dinosaurs if he let me, which was rare) :>

I had SUCH a collection of dinosaur toys, dinosaurs and dragons at least. I used to make them little houses out of cardboard and construction paper, and my Calico Critters would ride them like horses. (I would make them joust)

I love Lego so much, I still buy sets.

I would if i had the money for them :( there so expensive now, 40 dollars for a 250 piece set where i live

It's terribly expensive where I am too, I save my money to buy them as little treats for myself sometimes, but sadly it just doesn't happen that much anymore.

i get the feeling, i really miss the days when you could get 5-800 piece sets for under 70 bucks :/

Now those same sets are almost $200.

its amazing what inflation does, i remember going to target and buying the medium sized millennium falcon with my dad for a little under 120 bucks, and that was almost 4k pieces if memory serves right

I got a jungle pyramid once, (I believe it's been discontinued now) but it was almost 3,000 pieces if I remember correctly. It was only $100, if not just a little more. :(

I hate capitalism in general. I hate working two jobs just to be able to live. I hate worrying about if I hurt myself not being able to pay. I hate not being able to do the things that make me happy because they cost too much, like Lego sets.
