Did you guys know that mere seconds before the alarm goes off on the fire alarm the light flashes? I found out in 4th grade and I was the only one in my class to notice, my ears had been saved. :D

I used to cover my ears most of the day anticipating some kindergartener to pull the alarm or just to have a drill

That teacher really ticks me off. They're supposed to help you, but don't care if you get a heart attack?

I used to have a phobia of sudden loud noises, so I understand how you felt. One time in high school, the fire alarm went off and scared me so much I screamed and the chair I was sitting in fell backwards and came to rest against the desk behind me.

I'm happily past that point now.
