We need to see the facts.

Would it be that Hunter did not declare his income because it was ill-gotten? What about any other Bidens who received money through the 17 shell companies?

Let's see the facts supporting these allegations in the light of day. I suspect that what we will see are excuses. If these allegations were facts, Biden would already be impeached. He does not have the same Messianic control over the Dems that Trump has over the GOP. If Biden is a crook, get him out of there. We have plenty of people who can take his place. This is the put up or shut up moment McCarthy has dreaded. This will probably not end well for the GOP, no matter the outcome.

If only thw othwr side could rectify down to zero, the whole country would be better. The fact they cannot even stomach trump might HAVE ACTUALLY COMMITTED CRIMES, is the big problem.

Facts: Something like 20 shell companies and 170 Suspicious Activity Reports across several banks for starters. I’d venture to say members of Congress have more facts than have been in the news.

Suspicious Activity Reports are a normal part of banking for people with transactions of several thousands of dollars each. They could indicate money laundering or nothing at all. Allegations are not acts, and a meme is not a congressional committee.

Slander and libel laws allow for people to make comments in the shade of the political tent, that they know to be lies. Such is and always has been the nature of the political beast. Under oath, serving on or giving sworn testimony to a Committee of Congress is a different thing.

Politics is aspirational at its core. We address life's ugly truths with a dose of what we wish were true. When that spills over into negative judgements and the sins we wish we could prove against an adversary takes the place of advocacy for a differing view, politics become toxic.

When all the lies spread over extremist media are used as the basis for legal action, someone has to present facts supporting them under oath swear they are true. The punishment for lying on a Podcast is nothing compared with telling those same lies, under oath.

Hunter is being indicted for gun violations. Nothing else is stated at this time. Joe is not a co-conspirator on that charge. Stay tune for Season 2

Hunter 's plea deal included his admission to two tax evasion charges. I suspect that the indictment will, at least include those, as well as the unfiled charges that were used to force the plea deal. If a new plea deal emerges, I expect it to put everything out in the open with a sense of transparency stressed this time.

The problem for some people is the expectation that "First Families," are "above reproach." Hunter Biden is a recovering addict. Getting the drugs to feed his addiction over the years involved the violation of many felony laws. Having worked with large recovery-based programs over the years, I am surprised that more "dirt," on Hunter has not been publicized. Then, I remember, his Father is the target. It might be harder to sully Joe Biden's reputation in the "Court of Public Opinion," if his son's motivations for misdeeds were driven by addiction rather than family "corruption." As they say, "Never let facts get in the way of a good story."
