If you want a huge lack of freedom try out Minecraft Story Mode.

It has a good storyline tho

“This game is narrative focused and has a great story” is code for “this game is boring.” Watching a cutscene and then spamming the A button to get to the next 5-minute cutscene is totally riveting gameplay.

And it’s not even a good plot.
