That’s what I was kinda worried about. Cutscenes. One of the reasons I bring up Dead Space is because it tells its story with zero cutscenes. You’re always in control of your character while things happen. Same thing with Half-Life, COD World at War, and Portal 2.
Cutscenes have their place in video games, but a smart game knows how to tell a story while keeping the controller in your hand.
Maybe the cutscenes in TLOU work well, idk. I haven’t played it so I can’t say for sure.
