Since Biden has offered Hawaii US $700 per household in emergency aid and over US $260 per household for humanitarian aid, if the cost of living stats were the same, considering there is a 169.23% difference between emergency aid to Hawaii and Ukraine's humanitarian aid and there is approximately 126% difference between Ukraine's cost of living to Hawaii's cost of living, Hawaii is being given more than Ukraine by 38.42% since if Hawaii and Ukraine had the same cost of living.
How I calculated all this.
I divided Ukraine's humanitarian aid ($260 per household) by 76% since their cost of living is 76% less expensive than the US.
Then I multiply this by 126% since Hawaii and Ukraine have about a 126% difference between emergency aid to Hawaii and Ukraine's humanitarian aid. That would be about US $431.05 per household if Ukraine's cost of living was just as expensive as Hawaii.
Then I subtract 700 by 431.05, I get 268.95. I divide 268.95 by 700, then multiply it by 100. The answer: I just said it but I'll repeat it in a different paragraph.
Hawaii has been given approximately 38.42% more than Ukraine if the cost of living is the same.
