No surprise you left out WHY...

He's run through $100-million in campaign donations that were converted to legal fees. At that many of his past lawyers, including Rudy haven't been paid. His current lawyers threatened to quit and he chickened out.

Nope... saving it for the trial... it's going to be spectacular... LOL

Isn't he a billionaire though?

He is a "billionaire," on paper. He could liquidate, and still be a multimillionaire. But, the legal fees for his trials would be far greater than his wealth alone could sustain.

According to the real news he doesn't have the money to pay Rudy's bill, which has put his former lawyer in a bind. Trump is well known to be a deadbeat, when it comes to paying for services. His current lawyers demanded payment in advance. That may have caused the large bills his campaign contributions were redirected to. And, he doesn't have cash wealth to speak of. He is a real estate speculator. Most of his wealth is in the form of mortgaged properties. Most of the cash he gets is spent on servicing these mortgages.

Without campaign donations and donations to his new Legal Defense Fund he would be in grave trouble, financially. If he runs out of lawyer money at this late date, the judge could force his lawyers to represent him for free, as happened in the second Menendez Brothers trial. Without the money to pay for ancillary services, the second trial defense was not as robust as the first one and the boys went to jail.

As far as "spectacular," goes Trump had better mind his manners. I'm not saying that he would be bound and gagged ala "Bobby Seale in the Chicago 7 trial." But he could be held in Contempt of Court and banned from the proceedings. Also, the Jury Pool for Fulton County will look more like the two election workers he slandered, than him. They will be less tolerant of jackass behavior than Trump Trolls on a meme site.

What a crock. Trump's lawyers actually are concerned that his stupid "News Conference" will backfire and do him more harm than good.

He's nearing the end of his run and he knows it. He's panting like a pony that's "been rode hard and put up wet." If Jack Smith would offer to put a good word in for him in New York and Georgia, he would settle for five years of Home Confinement, tomorrow. If he plays his cards right, he can bow out with a "bag full of cash" from an unrestricted PAC, a comfortable retirement at Mar-A-Lago and an unrivaled political legacy. If he times things right, he can crash the GOP, to "prove they needed him more than he needed them." Like JFK's "Camelot," if you lived through this, you'll never forget it. Think of it as "Trump's Evil Camelot."
