You're very lucky. It was kinda crazy out here.
Although I do love the sound of the sound of the rain, personally...there was a lot of it.
The only thing that happened here was a pipe burst and flooded the lower level of parking. Besides him not wanting to go out in it, so I made extra trips so he could get to his box. 😻

I’m glad you dodged a bullet, but it sounds like you got more rain than you needed.
Here, there has been more tornado warnings than I can remember. Even the damage from straight line winds has been too close for comfort. While this neighborhood has been spared, you only need to drive a mile to find lots of damage. I’ve taken numerous detours going to and from work due to trees and wires down.
It is quiet now, but looking back over the past two months is when all the chaos took place.
May was an unusually dry month, only a quarter inch of rain. But from June on it’s been the warnings and severe weather.
Very strange events indeed.

I remember I hated the tornado siren when I lived in the Midwest as a child. But none of them ended up coming to where we lived.
