How to know that racism still pervades - nay, shapes - culture, history, science, logic, facts.... Europe is somehow classified as a separate continent because of population, not geography. You'd have a better argument that the USA east of the Mississippi is a separate continent as at least it has the river and the Great Lakes separating it from the rest.
