Firstly, you do what NeoCon Imperialists ALWAYS do - when their goal is actually "REGIME CHANGE" - you try to effect the personification of a Nation, with it's leader. And so - The Russian Federation = "Vladimir Putin", just like Iraq = "Saddam", and Syria = "Assad". Sadly, none of you know anyone from Yemen - so you just don't mention it, and ignore the hundreds of thousands of children and adults that you've killed there, over the same period.
No. In fact, Russia's entry into the ongoing Civil War in Ukraine, (which began in 2014, and happens to be right on their border,) the "Special Military Operation" or SMO - has gone to GREAT LENGTHS to avoid civilian casualties - costing them a great deal of additional lives, in terms of Russian soldiers and Donbass Republic Militia Members. This is due, in part, to the disgusting tactic of the Ukrainian Nazi battalions and UAF soldiers deliberately putting their firing positions into civilian areas, a violation of the laws of armed conflict, also known as a "warcrime". Are Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International Russian now?... Because that's what they reported. What they DIDN'T mention, was that the Ukrainian Nazis, as part of their most recent 8 (now 9+) year efforts to ethnically cleanse Eastern and Southern Ukraine of "Russians" (aka the Ukrainians who've lived there, their whole lives), have also been preventing civilians from evacuating places like Mariupol - using them as human shields, and even deliberately targeting civilians with artillery and small arms, just as they've been doing in the Donbass, all along since 2014.
So your numbers, if even accurate, don't automatically reflect Russian actions. I would argue that thay don't. The Kramatorsk train station attack was done by Azov, using a Tochka-U missile, that Russia doesn't use anymore. The warcrimes in Bucha, were committed by Ukraine's SBU's "Safari Teams" and the Nazi "Botsman Boys" unit. Those Murdered were described as "collaborators", who received the aid offered to them by the Russians
If Russia "went in heavy'/" as USMC Intel Officer Scitt Ritter puts it - then all of "Ukraine would look like a parking lot", as Col Douglas Macgregor puts it, greatly increasing the numbers of Ukrainian casulties both civilian and military. The US typically kills 10 civilians for every soldier. The Russians have killed more that 350,000 Ukrainian fighters, thus far. You do the math. And neither Afghanistan or Iraq posed any actual threat to the US.
