Then you proceed to want to double-down, thinking people having the ability to defend themselves, isn't a solution, to criminals. When in fact, Americans having guns, we can defend ourselves from criminals a lot easier. Making it more difficult for criminals to create more victims.
Then you bring up cops. Who's relying on cops? No one should rely on cops. Even the SCOTUS ruled that cops do not have to sacrifice their own life, to protect yours/ours.
When you have the ability to neutralize a criminal, it's not about bravery or bad-assery, it's about instinct and saving your own ass.
