Affirmative action was a dumb idea from the beginning, however, in the 60's it made more sense than any decade after.

Smart, hard working hispanics and blacks will remain unaffected by this ruling, and will henceforth be free of suspicion that they only got into college because of affirmative racism, instead of merit.
And someday we may even get a qualified black woman on the court who knows what a woman is.

I am getting so sick and tired of hearing how "diversity is our strength". That is complete and utter crap. Diversity has absolutely no value because there is no diversity. If you want real diversity then you MUST include EVERYONE. But Diversity™ is only about liberals. They talk, talk, talk about inclusion and then turn around an exclude anyone who does not march in lockstep with them.

They exclude white people unless that white person is a leftist. The used to include Asians but because many Asians work real hard and are very smart they threw them under the bus. They are now considered "white adjacent".

And this is the reason for the Supreme Court ruling. Affirmative Action was excluding Asians from admission to college.

And just as everyone expects, liberals are going nuts because they do not want black or Hispanics to be accepted into college based on their merits. Skin color is their most important requirement.

So remember that when your pilot only got certified to fly an airplane just because of his skin color. Think of that when you go in for open heart surgery and your surgeon got into college just because of her skin color.

Yep. The original idea was a Melting Pot of all types of people regardless of skin color or sex(male/female) possessing good and moral character and the result would hopefully be something new and good.
