Clearly the charges were not dropped by Newsom at the behest of Nancy or anyone else, because if they had been dropped, he would not have been sentenced...

In this case, sentenced to 5 days in jail and 3 years probation.

If you are unaware that the jail time you get sentenced to doesn't always equal the amount of jail time you actually end up doing, that is not my problem and it is irrelevant to my point.

I would tend to think Napa aka "wine country" has had it's fair share of other DUIs with minor injury such as was the case here but idk.
