Not the same picture, one is utilizing a racist trope.

If you don't like Capitalism - or both, as the case may be - then there's always back to the woods and dining on grubs and assorted roots and acorns.

Debatable, but the most well tested types of government are definitely Monarchy and probably a Republic. If you look at how well it's done I think it's safe to say Communism is a fail, and Democracy never lasts. I know the Democracy thing is controversial but even the ancient Greeks figured out Democracy doesn't last.

That's my point of view anyway.

I think it’s a little far-fetched to say that socialism is a failed system, in my opinion at least.

That's actually pretty interesting, but a couple of things from the article I find hard to believe... First of all, my understanding of an industrial era civilization is that the lifestyle of civilians usually worsened by moving off of farmland to a highly industrialized city, but again that's what usually happens in capitalistic systems so I can see the argument here as this is socialist.

Second, wtheck does "A sudden drop in fertility due to the education of women and their employment outside the home also facilitated growth."?!!! XD XD XD

My understanding is that "drops in fertility" never merits the growth of society right there lol

It also raises several questions as to the efficiency of women working outside the home, but that's a completely different argument and an extremely controversial one.

Yes, I’d say it’s an extremely controversial argument and I’d like to steer away from that.

However, if you’re interested in learning more about this, I highly recommend this video:

Ok, I watched.

It was interesting I must say and presented some valid arguments several of which I have to agree with.

However, several facts I do not believe are correct.

One thing id like to state for everyone's benefit is that man has the right to own property, this belief is based in the fundamentals of morality and religion. The right to own property is denied by base communism and socialism, which is why I believe these are failed systems. However, I cannot deny that Capitalism has its flaws and that there are quite a few of them. However I do believe Capitalism is at least slightly superior to Communism.

One thing I think both sides can agree on is that they are not the same thing lol

I enjoyed the debate very much @aCollectionOfCellsThatMakesMemes, if you wanna keep it up I'm always open to dm or however that works on here lol

Ofc. Just letting you know that there’s a difference between private and personal property.

The only reason socialist regimes have a higher average GDP is because they stop at NOTHING to earn it.
