Problem is

Biased mods

Put a nazi or a vegan leftist on the mod list, they’ll change what harassment means

If you ever feel like you're unfairly disapproved or deleted, you should always contact a cooler mod or owner.

We will work to make the rules clearer and define every term as we go on.

We know harassment when we see it.

imgflip.com/i/7ohdbd
This is an example of a post dealing with an apparently "sensitive" subject, but is not abusive. The creator also made it clear that they're expressing their own opinion, instead of forcing it down our throat 🌚🌚🌚🌚

We will know it's harassment when we see it.
No community gets free parking just because of being a community; our job is to protect them from abuse, not to protect ideologies.

Everyone is allowed to talk about everything. Imagine we live in 1985.

But saying “you can’t be gay” is literal homophobia. It’s like me saying someone can’t be religious because I don’t agree with it.

Several variations of "You can't be gay" come under Harassment, and several don't.
The meme in question isn't about anyone being gay, it's about how the creator thinks that they themself shouldn't be gay because of their faith. Saying "I'm not gay" is not homophobic in any circumstance.

Yeah I’m not saying that’s homophobic.
Intent matters

what if people ask to roast them

would that be considered harassment?

Breaking Imgflip ToS regarding conduct counts as harassment. You know what words to avoid.

No, most comments under "Roast me" would never be deleted. Mods always consider the context.

Hey, so I have comment banned people for being homophobic before and got told it was “mod abuse”
I’d like to show this post to certain people.
Thanks for explaining.
Per chance, did you give a two hour comment ban for a user insulting another’s religion? Because that has never happened before. I agree what was said was rude, but if homophobia won’t be punished then anti religion speech shouldn’t be punished either

If Homophobia is expressing your own views and accepting them as your own views instead of abusively invalidating someone else's views in a way that makes things less fun for everyone, then it won't be punished.

No, I didn't ban anyone for a comment. But I'm looking into it with the mod involved.

No it’s okay, he misread the situation.
Carry on.
Also I think homophobia for the sake of funny is funny.
BirdNerd is homophobic because she’s an a-hole. There’s a big difference
