I also think Harrison was just more of a talented songwriter than Lennon and McCartney. He made the satirical "Taxman" in response to governments, "Something" is a wonderful song, "Here Comes the Sun" is beautiful, "Gently Weeps" has terrific guitar parts, and even "Northern Song" is still enjoyable. To me, he was the one who took the Beatles from a boy band into a very experimental, psychedelic band, and he was brilliant for that.

His guitar set the Beatles apart from the rest.
